Description
The Multipoint Clamp Stowage Plate (part number RK-16) gives operators a fixed place to attach grounding clamps when the STS 300 Multipoint Ground Monitoring System is not in use. Stowing clamps on the plate eliminates the possibility of stowing them in a way that impacts their function, and keeps them from being damaged by being left on the ground.

About the STS 300 Multipoint
The STS 300 Multipoint grounds up to four pieces of equipment from a single control device, in 2-clamp or 4-clamp configurations, and only operates when all cables are connected. With several clamps on one system, a defined stowage point helps keep each clamp clean and undamaged between transfers.
Installation
The plate mounts to the enclosure using existing enclosure bolts, and installation hardware is included. For multipoint systems, the STS 300 installation and operating manual (PDF) directs you to remove the two bottom center bolts on the enclosure, place the stowage plate over the cover and align the two mounting holes, add the two supplied 5/16 in flat washers, and refasten with the original enclosure bolts. Tighten the bolts to 11 ft-lb and do not overtighten.
