STS static grounding clamps, also known as static earthing clamps, and bonding clamps use carbide teeth that bite through paint and corrosion for a reliable metal-to-metal connection, available as individual clamps or complete grounding assemblies.
This Ground Clamp is made from cast aluminum since non-ferrous metals will not generate a spark when struck. Its heavy-duty clamping force and unique stainless steel binding points will ensure proper connection without slipping off the surface it is clamped to. Commonly used with tanker trucks, railcars, barges, and large vats. It is rated to be used in temperature down to -40°F (-40°C). The K78160ASRS model includes a strain release feature in case the operator forgets to detach the clamp prior to the vehicle’s departure.
